We have a hole! Construction began on our property at Fortner Ridge, the future home of our Anam Cara dream. The site has been completely excavated, and thankfully the rock was only a narrow shelf under a shallow bed of soil. Once they got past the rock it was nothing but clay. We'll still have to have a large amount of top soil hauled in for the septic system, but at least we won't have to have a "lagoon"!
