It's slow going...

Last week the interior doors started going up at Anam Cara as well as floor, window, and door trim.  All the tile is grouted except for the master shower which I understand is a slow, tedious process.  After that, we're down to the kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, book shelves, all counter tops and the fireplace stone.  The deck, landscaping, and concrete work will have to wait until spring at this point, but at least we'll have a functional place by the end of the year!  I'm trying so hard to be patient...not one of my strong suits!  Everything looks absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to begin having retreat guests!
